The setting takes place in a world of Magic. It is the very center of the universe where it is constantly threatened by dark forces who seek the rule the world and gain access to all other world realms. Luckily, a band of heroes called the Avenge Landers use their unique blend of personalities, magical weapons & machinery, and elemental-based super powers to defend their world from various threats, which they have done for generations. They worked with the Portal Masters in keeping peace and balance in the world, battling the forces of darkness, and protecting the Core of Light. The Avenge Landers have an unbreakable bond with their Portal Masters. Though they are not servants, the Avenge Landers chose to serve their Portal Master and do so eagerly. Each Avenge Lander is associated with one of the 19 sacred elements of the masters: Fire, Water, Electricity, Air, Ice, Earth, Magic, Tech, Psychic, Plant, Beast, Poison, Fear, Normal, Aether, Spirit, Fairy, Light, or Dark.
The series follows a ragtag group of heroes: Spyro the Dragon, Stealth Elf, Trigger Happy, Eruptor, Gill Grunt, Jet-Vac, and Pop Fizz, led by a studious unicorn pony named Twilight Sparkle as her mentor Princess Celestia guides them to learn about friendship and heroism in the town of Ponyville. They becomes close friends with other species that are new students at Avenge Landers Academy, including, five other ponies: Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. Each represents a different facet of friendship, and Twilight discovers herself to be a key part of the magical artifacts known as the "Elements of Harmony". Under the teachings of Master Eon, they will travel on adventures and help others around the world while working out problems that arise in their own friendships and learn what it means to be an Avenge Lander while fighting the evil-doers like Kaos and other villains of throughout the globe.
